Admission: $3.00 adults; $2.00 students (6-18 yrs); Free for children under 5.

Hours: Wednesday-Saturday 12 - 4 p.m. and the 1st Sunday of every month 2 - 4 p.m. The Center is closed on major holiday weekends. Flexible times are available with advance group reservations.

Directions:
From the west, take I-496 to exit 6 for Walnut/Pine and merge onto Malcolm X Street (formerly Main Street).
From the east, take I-496 to exit 6 for Walnut/Pine and merge onto St. Joseph St. Turn left onto Walnut St. Turn left onto Malcolm X Street (formerly Main Street).
The museum is located in a large yellow house on the south side of Malcolm X Street, just after the GM plant and Townsend St. Turn right at the traffic light on Capitol Ave into the parking lot for the museum and Cooley Gardens. Click here for a map of the area.
Parking: A free, city-owned lot is located on the east side of the Center and can accommodate cars, vans, or buses.

Book a Tour:
Group tours of the Center can be arranged both during and after hours when scheduled in advance. A typical tour lasts 45 minutes to an hour. Maximum group size is 40.
